Chester Borelli Memorial Scholarship Fund Winners

Congratulations to 2001 Recipients

Chester Borelli Memorial Scholar

The first student to receive the Chester J. Borelli Scholarship is Nicole Culp from Fort Collins, Colorado. Nicole is in her fourth year of study at Colorado State University. Congratulations, Nicole.

"My name is Nicole Culp and I am currently a junior accounting major at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. This letter is to express my gratitude for the scholarship I received on behalf of the National Society of Accountants through the endowment of the Public Accountants Society of Colorado. Many thanks to you and your organization for your continued support of the accounting profession and students such as myself.

After I complete my undergraduate coursework at Colorado State, I plan to pursue my master\'s degree in accounting. After my studies, I hope to become a CPA. When I feel that I have gained enough practical work experience, my ultimate goal is to start my own business keeping books and doing tax consulting for a few small businesses or individuals.

Like so many students, my education might not be possible without the aid of scholarships and grants.  I only hope that I will be able to live up to your expectations of excellence in the coming semesters. Thank you for your generosity."
 - Nicole E. Culp
